My name is Azizi Hicks. I was born in U.S.A. on July 19, 1985. I am from Boise, Idaho. After High School I joined the United States Marine Corps. I served in the Afghanistan (2006) and Iraq (2007) war, for the United States. I moved to China May 25th 2012. I really enjoy teaching students English. During my free time I like taking photographs. I want to visit as many places during my time in China and document my travels through thousands of pictures. I also like playing basketball to keep in shape. I was born in a small island in the Caribbean called The Dominican Republic. As a child I moved to the U.S. and lived in NYC for about 22years, later becoming U.S. Citizen. In college I majored in Communications and Theater. I have experience in many different lines of work in the U.S. from Sales, to IT, Education, and Entertainment. The one thing I value the most is learning. Learning keeps me motivated especially languages. I am a native English, Spanish speaker, and also have conversational Japanese skills. I plan on adding Chinese (Mandarin) to my skills set as my forth language.
